Founder & COO
Joe Sarber
Joe Sarber is a 16-year veteran of the Paulding County Fire Department, where he has built a distinguished career grounded in leadership, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to public safety. He holds an extensive range of certifications, including Hazmat Operations, Flammable Liquids, Pressurized Container Firefighting, Fire Instructor I, Leadership I, II, III, Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF), NPQ Aerial Operator, NPQ AOPP, NPQ Structural Fire Control, Practical Fireground Hydraulics, Preparation for Initial Company Operations (PICO), STICO (Strategy and Tactics for Initial Company Operations), DMICO (Decision Making for Initial Company Operations), Incident Safety Officer, Fire Inspector I, and NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800.

Joe has served in the airshow industry since 2012, contributing in a variety of roles such as Airshow Operations, Performer Crew Chief, and later Chief Operating Officer of a nationally recognized airshow safety team. With more than a decade of specialized experience, he is widely regarded as a subject matter expert in airshow safety, frequently invited to speak at the International Council of Air Shows (ICAS) Convention in Las Vegas on topics related to aircraft rescue, emergency response, and safety best practices.

As a certified fire instructor, Joe has developed specialized aviation-focused training curriculum that can be delivered to local fire departments prior to airshow weekends. These classes count toward annual firefighter training requirements and help departments prepare for the unique challenges of aviation emergencies.
Joe is a proud husband, father, and grandfather, bringing the same dedication, integrity, and professionalism to his family life that he brings to every mission he serves.

Liaison
Gentry Sarber
Gentry Sarber has been involved in the airshow industry since 2012, when she began her career with the Salute America Airshow in Dallas, GA. Serving as the Director of Hospitality for three consecutive years, she helped shape a high-quality guest experience and developed a strong understanding of airshow operations and performer support.

Gentry holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and has clinical experience in both renal care and cardiac telemetry. She currently works as a Workers’ Compensation Case Manager in Georgia, where her expertise, communication skills, and attention to detail ensure injured workers receive appropriate and coordinated care.
​
A proud wife of a firefighter, mother of two, and grandmother of one, Gentry brings dedication, compassion, and professionalism to every role she serves.
With Team ASSET, Gentry serves as a liaison, working closely with airshow organizers to maintain strong relationships and ensure the team consistently delivers a polished, dependable, and high-quality product. Her blend of airshow experience, medical background, and organizational skills make her an invaluable member of the team.

Team Coordinator
Mia Sarber
Hello, my name is Mia Sarber, and I serve as the Team Coordinator for ASSET. In this role, I work to strengthen the connection between the professional airshow industry and the many public-facing components that support each aerial event. From coordinating with fire departments and managing ASSET CARES educational programs to supporting performer logistics, my focus is on ensuring seamless communication and operational cohesion.
Dedicated, dependable, and detail-driven, I am committed to upholding the highest level of professionalism while monitoring both performer needs and crowd-line integrity. My goal is to ensure that every action reflects ASSET’s standard of excellence—where every move is measured, and every second is mastered.

Team Member
Mark Morgan
Mark Morgan brings a wealth of experience to his role as a Safety Team Member with ASSET. Mark's journey in public service began with the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a Staff Sergeant for six years. Following his military service, Mark embarked on a career in firefighting and rescue, serving with Paulding County Fire/Rescue for 27 years, ultimately attaining the rank of Captain and certification as an EMT before retiring.
​
Mark's dedication to safety extended behind traditional firefighting roles, as he also served as a Safety Team Member with the International Motorsports Association and NASCAR for 15 years. His experience in motorsports safety provided valuable insights and skills that he now applies to his work with ASSET.
​
Mark has always been an aviation enthusiast and his passion for aviation combined with his extensive experience in emergency response led him to join ASSET.
​
In addition to his professional endeavors, Mark is deeply committed to volunteerism. He served as Captain and Training Officer with the Muddy Pond Volunteer Fire Department in Monterey, TN, from 2021 to 2024.
​
Mark's dedication to safety and his passion for aviation and motorsports drive his contributions to ASSET. He believes that the team's specialized training in aircraft firefighting and rescue, coupled with their understanding of performer aircraft and unique response vehicles, allows ASSET to provide the highest level of safety response to the airshow community.

Firefighter & Rescue Diver
Matt Hall
Matthew Hall is a dedicated Firefighter and Rescue Diver currently serving with ASSET. With more than two decades of experience in the fire service—most of which were spent with Carroll County Fire Rescue—Matthew retired from active duty in 2023, yet remains deeply committed to water rescue and recovery operations.
His path in emergency response began through volunteer firefighting, where he devoted 20 years to serving his community. Inspired by the rescue crews he admired during childhood trips to dirt track races, Matthew cultivated a lifelong passion for helping others in critical moments. That passion ultimately guided him into a distinguished career in firefighting and specialized rescue.
Matthew brings extensive expertise in structural firefighting, hazardous materials response, and rescue diving. He holds certifications including Firefighter NPQ, Hazmat, and Rescue Diver. His role with ASSET allows him to continue serving within the aviation community while working alongside a team he views as family.

Team Member
Luke Lansdell
Luke is a dedicated professional with a passion for service and a commitment to excellence. He has 3 years of experience on a previous rapid-response team. He also holds the rank of Sergeant with the Rome Fire Department, where he has been an integral part of the team since 2015.

Driven by a desire to continually improve himself and those around him, Luke finds fulfillment in pushing the boundaries of what is achievable. With a bachelor's in business management from Shorter University, where he excelled both academically and athletically as a collegiate wrestler, Luke brings a unique blend of leadership and determination to his roles in firefighting and airshow safety.

While initially unexpected, Luke's journey into the fire service was sparked by the sense of camaraderie and the opportunity to serve his community. His involvement ins safety and rescue operations for the Rome airshow reflects his dedication to ensuring the well-being of others, both on the ground and in the air.

As a proud member of the tight-knit airshow community, Luke looks forward to sharing his experiences with his son in the future, continuing the legacy of service and dedication for generations to come.

Team Member
Correy Britt
Corey Britt is a proud native Texan and a 31-year veteran of the Oklahoma City Fire Department. He currently serves as a Major at Fire Station 29. Over the course of his career, Corey has responded to many of the significant disasters that have impacted the Oklahoma City area, beginning with the Murrah Building bombing in 1995.
​
A lifelong aviation enthusiast, Corey is also a private pilot and drone pilot, combining his love of flight with his commitment to public service. He is passionate about serving others and giving back to his community whenever possible.
​
Corey holds multiple national fire service certifications, including Rope Rescue Technician, Confined Space Technician, Structural Collapse Technician, Trench Rescue Technician, HazMat Technician, and EMT-B/D. His blend of experience, training, and dedication reflects a career spent protecting others and advancing the profession he loves.

Sydney Dixson
​Sydney Dixson is a dedicated firefighter with four years of service and an extensive list of specialized certifications. He is certified in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF), Firefighter II, Hazardous Materials Technician, AEMT, Fire Instructor I, Flammable Liquids, Pressurized Container Firefighting, and AOPP. Sydney has also completed NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800, strengthening his capabilities in incident command, large-scale emergency management, and interagency coordination.
​
In addition to his civilian fire service experience, Sydney proudly serves as a firefighter with the U.S. Air Force, spending three years with the 165th Airlift Wing in Savannah, Georgia. His military role continues to expand his expertise in aircraft rescue operations, structural firefighting, and mission-critical emergency response.
Outside of firefighting, Sydney demonstrates his athleticism, discipline, and teamwork as a member of the Atlanta Hawks Stunt Team, bringing the same professionalism and determination he is known for in the fire service.

Lee Poole
Lee holds National Professional Qualifications (NPQ) in Firefighter I & II, Public Fire & Life Safety Educator I, Hazardous Materials First Responder—Awareness and Operations, Hazardous Materials Technician, Fire Inspector I, Fire Instructor I, and Apparatus Operator. His broad skill set reflects decades of operational experience and a deep commitment to firefighter readiness and public safety education.
​
In addition to his NPQ accomplishments, Lee has completed an extensive range of FEMA and NIMS certifications, including Introduction to the Incident Command System, Airport Rescue Firefighting (ARFF), Basic Incident Command System, Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents, Advanced ICS for Command and General Staff, National Incident Management System, National Response Plan, Introduction to Hazardous Materials, Exercise Design, Emergency Planning, Leadership and Influence, Decision Making and Problem Solving, Effective Communication, Developing and Managing Volunteers, and Terrorism & WMD Awareness in the Workplace.

Lee also serves on the ASSET Airshows Dive Team, holding multiple PADI certifications including Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Dry Suit Diver, Underwater Navigation, Nitrox, Rescue Diver, Master Diver, as well as Swiftwater Rescue.
​
Lee’s extensive operational experience, instructional background, and dedication to ongoing professional development have established him as a respected leader and educator within the fire service. His career embodies a lifelong commitment to service, safety, and enhancing the capabilities of emergency responders.
